I keep getting this message flashing at bottom right of my screen.

It has been doing this for weeks but I have no idea what it wants.

Boinc seems to be working well....how / where do I satisfy this request

So what's all showing on your screen when you see this message? Is BOINC Manager open in full screen? Anything else? A browser perhaps? A credit statistics counter applet?

As far as I know, BOINC itself doesn't keep a BOINC User ID. So this sounds like something a gadget or applet does that you installed to show credits on your desktop. At least not something from BOINC by BOINC.

It seems to happen with any browser window open (firefox)

Boinc manager is minimized (it is always minimized when not in active use)

If you don't know what program is generating that error message, try pasting the message into a Google search. If you're lucky, that might turn up a clue to the source of the error message.
