I am using BOINC 7.2.42 on Mac OS X 10.9.2. Whenever BOINC is active, WindowServer's CPU will increase from below 9% to above 15%, sometimes hitting 25%. The increase in CPU usage by WindowServer can be reproduced. Note that I am not showing any visualizations, only the BOINC Manager, daemon and background processes.

I am currently running the Einstein@Home project, with the task 'Gamma-ray pulsar search #3' .
