Boinc was running Seti but when I rebooted Boinc now is saying Unable to connect to the core client. It has tried 3x would I like to restart. That doesn't work. I have added boincmgr and boinc client added to my firewall, and virus software to connect. I am using Win 7 Pro SP1, Boinc 7.2.39 x86, and all ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics drivers, etc are up to date. |

Doesn't look like port 31416 is being used. How do I assign port 31416 to Boinc. I am using Win 7 Pro 32-bit. |

Normally you don't have to assign it, as BOINC should use it automatically. But you can try to start the BOINC client (boinc.exe) from a command line with the following command: boinc.exe --gui_rpc_port 31416 --detach_console The --detach_console command closes the command line window. Now start BOINC Manager from the All Projects->BOINC folder. |
