Does anyone have a way to circumvent the damaged msi update issue ? I have tried to update from 7.0.25 to 7.0.28, and have ended up reverted to 6.12.34, after a lot of time and effort. So at least I have boinc working again, but now even from
this later version, I still get the 2718 Missing Package Name issue.

Is there not some way that someone may have figured out to update and get around this problem. I know I can't be the only person fighting this issue.
