I received a notice that the new version/update for Version 7.x was available. I clicked on it and downloaded it to install it. During the installation, this came up: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." Does anyone know what this means or do I need to give more information?

When I cancel the operation, it gives me this error: Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product BOINC. The Windows Installer cannot continue.

Look at the BOINC FAQ Service:
Windows Installer Error 1706: Setup cannot find the required files / 1714: older version cannot be removed / BOINC.msi cannot be found / The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
