I recently took a Velocity Micro pre-put-together machine I've had for 3 years and wiped it clean to install Windows 7 on it. Along with that, i realize sometimes some of the features or hardware aren't optimized or even "on". You have to scour the web sometimes to find drivers, etc. I did find my NVIDIA GTX275 drivers and i installed them. Is there a way for me to make sure my computer is taking advantage of the video processing work units? As you can tell I dont know the proper terminology. Secondly, I saw a bunch of stuff on the MSI motherboard web site that I needed to download and I did my best. But I am not sure if my i7 processor is all good and ready to roar at top speed or not. Is there any way for me to check that? I want to be sure this machine is as fast as it was before I wiped all the properietary stuff off. I see work units that say "enhanced (cuda)" on them ... Thanks. |
