I have Windows7 on my Toshiba Satelite laptop. When I install BOINC it runs fine. But once I restart the computer after that I get the follow error message; "BOINC client has stopped working" reinstalling BOINC does not help! Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've been working on it for days. HELP!!!! http://www.setiuniverse.com/ Seti UNIVERSE is a stand alone website, that seeks to involve all of the SETI disciplines in one place, radio, optical, microwave, and amateur Seti. |

Not a lot to go on. Are there no error messages other than the one you have? Did you check in Windows Event Viewer? Is this a 32bit or 64bit Windows? Is this a 32bit or 64bit BOINC? Which version of BOINC? How did you install BOINC, as a normal installation or as a service (protected application execution)? How far is the Windows on the laptop updated? Which projects do you run? Do you have any other problems, like overheating or disk trouble? |
