Hello, I can't get boinc to work under Mac OS X 10.6.3 (it can't connect at all). I've tried two different computers, neither worked. I have controlled my network/firewall settings, no problems there.
I then tried to set up Boinc in a Windows instance in VMware on one of the computers, this works. This clearly proves that it can't be anything wrong with my computer or network.

So, how do i fix this, anyone who have overcome similar problems?

It depends which version of BOINC you're talking about.

There were communications problems for some people in v6.10.43, solved (subject to final testing) with v6.10.44

Would you mind becoming a BOINC Alpha tester? See the instructions here, so that 6.10.44 can progress to recommended status. Then the developer for the Mac can add all the latest code changes and bug-fixes in a newer test version.
