Hello!
I just installed the newer version - 6.6.20. I used to have 6.4. First I tried upgrade, but then removed the older and installed the newer version.
The problem is BOINC no longer connects to a local client. I tried selecting localhost, 127.0.0.1 even my LAN IP, but to no avail. I have no Firewall enabled and have even added boinc.exe and boincmgr as exceptions in the firewall settings.

P.S. Maybe it has something to do with the way I install BOINC - I run it as an application and not as a service.

Ah, nevermind - reverted to 6.4.7 and it is working OK, except that at first it gave me some warnings for no access rights and wrong password ;). I think I will stay there until 6.7/6.8...
