I'm looking for a project, preferably astronomy related, that gives some sort of feedback other that the number of computing operations performed. Any suggests? Thanks |

What kind of feedback are you looking for? It's a vague term. Kathryn :o) |

If, for example, I am helping to calculate the orbit of asteroids approaching the earth, it would be nice to see a picture of the orbits as they are being calculated, or at least, the possible impact point. Better yet would be the results of everybody's calculation. Even once a week would be nice. |

Some of that sort of info would be (should be, I don't run them) shown via Show graphics on your computer, and the rest of what you want on the project site. For instance, have a look at Orbit@home (here), which currently has that sort of thing on the web site's home page. |

The material on the orbit website has posted by a member in October. I think if you had the type of feedback that I am talking about you would get more participants. I think you could get high school science classes involved. |

You'll have to talk to individual projects. This site is a "help desk" for problems with BOINC. The projects themselves are all separate from this site, and from each other. |
