I have been running this version since it came out without any problems except with World Community Grid.
Certain projects (Human Protein Folding and Help conquer Cancer) keep restarting and redisplaying the graphics. I can close the graphics, but they just keep reappearing. Have temporarily disabled these projects. People from World Community Grid seem to think it is a problem with this version of Boinc. Dengue Fever and Fight Aids seem to work just fine. Below is the messages put out by these projects.

Which version of 6.2.6? 32bit or 64bit?
The graphics problem is known to the developers on the 64bit version, not on the 32bit version. So if it is 32bit, please also give details on your computer and video card used.

As for the restarting thing, is this a single or multiple core/CPU computer?

Multiple Core and CPU.

Looks like the restarting bug is still around then. Does this only happen on WCG or do you also see it on other projects, like Einstein or Seti?

Do you use the CPU Thermal throttling option? If you do and you disable it (set it to 100%), will tasks still restart unnecessarily? (May make it more noisy and hot, but if you don't mind testing...)

I only see it with WCG projects mentioned earlier. All other projects work fine. I am running 64 projects and WCG is the only one I have trouble with.

I do not use the throttling option.

Then it's better to post it at the WCG forums. If only to meet Rob again. ;-)
