BOINC will not run coorectly in that sometimes the screensaver goes to blank screen after a few minutes although this option is not selected; or most recently, the screensaver will run but states that BOINC has been suspended although this option is not selected either. Vista and the BOINC screensaver do not get along well. Expect to have problems until version 6 is released and your projects update to a version 6 compatible science application. Version 5.10.45 I'm using BOINC for rosetta@home, uFluids, and World Community Grid, all of which serve medical research, particularly cancer and AIDS.
