Boinc 8.2.8 (x64) Windows 11 I got a new computer, all fancy and stuff, lots of horsepower. However, it runs a service called SignalRGB which apparently keeps the CPU active enough that BOINC won't do anything. The screensaver says No Active Tasks. I'm seeing this on both Einstein and Rosetta. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how did you get around it? I'm going to try stopping SignalRGB and seeing if BOINC will come back to life. |

Pretty certain you can stop that service or even uninstall it. |

If this 'SignalRGB' software uses so much CPU resources, I'd consider removing it for good. If you want to have it running and still run BOINC in parallel, configure your BOINC settings to stop crunching when CPU usage is much higher that the 'SignalRGB' resource usage. BOINC maintainer. For any insight, check my BOINC Development Blog. |
