My Linux systems received an update to version 8.2.8, which is causing the following problems: 1) The language is English. 2) The "Notifications" tab is now black with white text.
I cannot change the language back to "German" even when I go to "Options/Other Settings/"
What can I do?

I only get white text on black if I have dark mode enabled in my desktop.
Edit; Language change, requires exiting the manager and then restarting.

What Linux OS do you use?
Have you installed BOINC from this location or from some other?

I first installed from Linux Mint Flatpack . The first update was to BM 8.2.4 was ok. But then the update to 8.3.8 came ....
So, what can I do?

Ok, Flatpak is not a top priority for me right now, but I'll take a look.
To track this issue, please open a ticket here: https://github.com/flathub/edu.berkeley.BOINC/issues
It will be easier for you to check the status, and for me not to forget to fix it.
Thank you in advance.

I have opened a ticket and hope that the solution to the problem will not be too demanding.
