Over the next 24 hours I will be upgrading to Win 11.
I don't want to abort the 900+ wu's (NFS) & want to carry them over from Win 10.
Remembering the info I got here when upgrading from XP to Win 7...
...Will copying the data from Boinc's program data to the new data in Win 11 after installing Boinc work?
Running v8.2.4.

Yes. Why wouldn't it? Just copy the whole data directory with all subdirectories.

Thanks Jord.
I wasn't sure because I no longer trust or have faith in M$.

You do know that Europe has an extra year of Windows 10 updates for free, that you just have to log in with a Microsoft account (every 59 days)?

It's bye bye Win 10 & hello Win 11.
Up installed, running & crunching.
This is my last Windows installation.

Bye bye Windows, hello Linux - I’ve finished with my last Windows installation.

Probably literally because Microsoft engineered it that way: Microsoft Just Killed Millions of PCs (25H2 Update)

Just another reason not to trust Micro$haft and install Windows 11 without blocking lots of M$ telemetry & their programs running in the background or as a service.
