We have now changed the website so that a valid login is required for any information that requires access to the BOINC/CPDN databases. Unfortunately this is the only effective way of combating the aggressive nature of the LLM web-crawlers.

This has dramatically reduced the load on the database and improved the responsiveness of the website. Hopefully that's the end of it.

I don't know which other projects have had issues with this. The LLMs web-crawlers were effectively acting as DDOS attacks.
