The Polish certainly take their Boże Narodzenie (Christmas) extremely seriously indeed, if not a little too seriously in fact... well, Wesołych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia i Nowego Roku to them, I suppose this would be in order!

But seriously, does a (clearly) inactive, dormant, deprecated or moribund project only ever get removed from BOINC as one of available projects only upon its creators' or project owners' direct request to BOINC, and not otherwise?

To be fair, a month is not very long. More than once CPDN has been missing in action for longer, yet it is still an active project with work being done behind the scenes. Admittedly, when CPDN has been missing in action I or one or two others have been able to post updates on the BOINC boards but, I remember many asking the same question about CPDN.

It's a new year and the two BOINC project websites

&
root.ithena (measurement)}
are still off-line.

The main website (ithena.net) is still active.

After all these months I still have no response on the project X/Twitter account to direct messages.

The project was down more than up in 2025. I have decided to remove it from my PC's. No use wasting bandwidth on trying to communicate with this project.

Both back with tasks.
Even got credit for tasks from November.
