Good morning friends, I have been encountering a problem on Windows 10 when installing BOIC.

Actually last day I was downloading BOINC on my Windows 10 PC, but when I am trying to install this, I came across this error 0x0000004E. I have no idea what could be causing of this error. Could anyone please help me to give some solutions to fix it?

I would try downloading BOINC again. It is also worth checking if you have problems with RAM. here is where you can look at the various causes of the problem. My instinct is unless the downloaded installer is corrupted, the problem is with your computer.

Thank you so much for sharing the article. But I have resolved the issue with the help of this article. First I run DISM and SFC scan and also run CHKDSK. Then I updated the graphics driver. After doing the tasks properly, I have no longer any issues.
