My boinc can not connect ssl connection.

http connection can connect,
but https can not connection.


I downloaded the ca-bundle.crt from
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BOINC/boinc/master/curl/ca-bundle.crt

and added same directory of boinc binary.


BOINC client version is 7.20.2

OS is FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE-p12.

Most likely this is an issue with the WCG servers and there is nothing you can do but wait till they fix it.

Edit: I was unable just now to add the project on my WINE installation of BOINC and looking in the Projects section of the forums it confirms the project is down at the moment.

As further info.

WCG was due to go down today (25th) for 2 days to allow for data centre maintenance but it collapsed on the 21st and both the website and the servers have been down since then.

We can hope that it might rise again on the 27th but it might be next month before we see it.

perhaps,WCG is't the cause.

From the log, obviously not though you would get a message saying project servers may be down instead. Are you behind a firewall?

Can you connect to other projects? That is the easiest way to check if it is your setup or not.

The cause was in curl of boinc.
