Nearly all my recent tasks have been _2,3 or 4. most, the first two attempts have the no reply status. |

Looking at Project Stat's on or around July 23 there was a sizable jump in Active Users and correspondingly Active Hosts. Overall Project production has increased. |

Website: 503: Load Balancer is unable to route your request to an available server, most likely there is an issue in our infra that we are working to resolve. BOINC services and the webserver are different backends, so one may be still be handling traffic while the other is down, and in the case of the BOINC backend it is also possible the servers are temporarily too busy to handle your request at this time, and trying again shortly will work as normal. |

I was able to look at my results yesterday but the load balancer message is back this morning. Shouldn't really complain as I am still getting work even if no ARP tasks for what seems like forever! |

In reply to Dave's message of 2 Aug 2026: I was able to look at my results yesterday but the load balancer message is back this morning. Shouldn't really complain as I am still getting work even if no ARP tasks for what seems like forever!Yeah, there are lots of load balancer messages now again, from time to time. It's possible to get through though, with lots of retries, and tons of patience. |

Plenty of load balancer, system error, and other crap now. The WCG site is basically totally unusable. |

Something I noticed looking at my results. My Android tasks, my wingmen can be either Windows or Android clients. My Linux tasks, my wingmen are all other Linux (or occasionally Free BSD) clients. Just seems a bit odd given that Android runs on a Linux kernel. |

Back now. the only thing stopping them from renaming the website, yo-yo at home is the fact that that name has already been taken. |

Edit #2 @16:23 UTC - The server issue seems to be fixed. Was able to get new task and upload old tasks with no problems. BOINC can't upload or download any tasks from WCG servers. |

It is Sunday, and the load balancer is having problems again. But as we say in Sweden "trägen vinner" :-) (Google translate makes a terrible and extremely bad translation though. Google AI is much better.) 503: Load Balancer is unable to route your request to an available server, most likely there is an issue in our infra that we are working to resolve. |
