Can't get any of my machines that are linked to BAM to download, unless I take them off of BAM, remove/add the project and reattach to BAM afterwards. This is the error on all the computers. 3/25/2026 2:57:58 PM | World Community Grid | Not requesting tasks: don't need (CPU: account manager prefs; AMD/ATI GPU: account manager prefs) You can substitute AMD to NVDA on the error for those that have an NVDA card. |

WCG has gone mad, and dumping tasks for everyone. Set NNT for WCG, until they have fixed the problem. See this post, and forward: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=710259 |

Problem fixed. WCG is working again. However the credit issues are still to be resolved. A reply from Dylan, via Igor: fixed - I introduced a bug with a new build of the scheduler meant to fix the slow queries hammering disk |

I see the summary button has re-appeared on my results page, however there is nothing there sent after 2026:03:11. (So long as the results are getting through to the scientists I don't mind too much though working results pages is nice to check when things go base over apex.) |

Same here with the last result being 10th March, my pending validation seems to have gone down by a few but nothing has gone up to reflect that . |

There's crazy stuff going on now. All of a sudden a newly created host of mine (created on March 21), is showing in BOINC an Host Average Credits of 1 703 119 514 (1 billion 703 million 119 thousand 514) Not bad for a host that only been crunching around 400 MCM1 tasks, especially since the Host credits is only 30 879,3 BOINC Credits. Edit: I'm rich, and getting richer with every update. I think I'm going to buy myself a small country soon. |

In reply to Hadrian's message of 29 Mar 2026: Maybe you have got everybody’s points for the last 3 weeks or so !One of my boinc's has had a close to vertical change in the graph. The other the line has been flat for three weeks and I really don't know what is happening to the tasks I complete on my Android phone. |

Regrettably it just reinforces my fear that the backlog of hundreds of hours of awaiting validation will just evaporate which is why I am doing other projects. |

Looking back at my Pending Validation list some go back to November 25, the majority are Jan-Mar 26, I would have thought it better not to issue new WU’s until the backlog is cleared ….otherwise catch-up is going to be a long process. |

Updating account info. I'm trying to update my account info at the site using the tab for Data Sharing. It has "Display my data" ticked. The option "Link my devices" is not ticked. When I change that and tell it to update I get, in red letters, "There was an error saving your data. Please try again later." when I try to save it. Been more than a few days that it's been telling me this. Is it just me? Or is this a problem for others also. |

In reply to bill's message of 30 Mar 2026: Updating account info. That is an old issue, which has been reported several times in the WCG forum. With some luck, even that issue will be solved, when they are finished with the 6+ months old, and still ongoing migration to Nibi, from Graham. The whole system is totally crazy now. There are tons of issues waiting to be solved. |

That's kinda what kicked it off. I wasn't seeing, forever seemingly, any thing showing up at stats.free-dc.org but the boincmgr was indicating a big jump in results over the last 3 weeks (in the order of 10-12% which would be about right). So I thought I'd fiddle with that option. It looked to me as being the only thing I could change that might affect the lack of reporting at that web site. |

My boincmgr hasn’t changed for months/weeks in line with waiting for validation. At a rough guess I would say the pending validation Q is nearly 4 Million looking at the daily stats of around 40,000 a day since the start of 2026. |

Apart from none of my Android tasks since March 10th showing up, I also notice on all the result names I clicked on I get, Workunit Workunit not found |

Whatever they've done, it has gone crazy. My last valid wu was 13/3, all others since are pending, so where is the credit coming from? It's now sitting at 10M. That's crazy as my ave per week is approx. 100k. |

And now, not getting any new tasks. Maybe that means they are going to do something with the mass of data they have accumulated? |

Silly question but how much data does a completed task need ? Is it so many K or MB, eventually there must be a limit on how many can be held I would assume, and Index limits on where they are ? |
