I'm running Amicable Numbers project, and using my NVIDIA 1080 Ti GPU, which takes around 11 minutes per task.

However, every time the client requests tasks, it always set a couple to only use my 4-core CPU, which takes over 3 hours per task. I don't ever want my BOINC client to assign tasks to my CPU. I just end up aborting them, but next time it receives, it assigns more.

I know there is a no_gpus client config, but don't see anything similar for CPU.

Even when I've used up all my GPU tasks, and only the CPU tasks are left, it won't switch them over to GPU, it still wants to use the CPU on them, and I can't restart those tasks or switch those tasks over to GPU.

Is there a way to do this?

Use of the CPU or GPU is a project based preference, so you will find this on the Amicable Numbers website, your account, project preferences. Change them and uncheck Use CPU and if it applies "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?" and save changes to the website. The next time BOINC contacts the project it will get those preferences in.
