Disk space is now measured in GB, can't imagine that these files are that large. I guess, I will not follow this idea. Thanks for all here. For me the thread can now be closed. ID: 73390 ·

They are stored in "System Volume Information" directory which is typically off limits even for administrators. Wikipedia has a page for both System Restore and Disk Cleanup (not Wizard, sorry). See this article to configure System Restore. And to start Disk Cleanup either type it in Start Menu or open Explorer, right click a drive, select Properties and click Disk Cleanup in the General tab. ID: 73402 ·

It is at over 80% of the current task. I let my PC do work for three projects, it is not a necessity for me. So don't talk to me like that. ID: 74050 ·
